Discover FlowHunt’s latest features: cron jobs for automation, DeepSeek AI model, Google Workspace integration, and DuckDuckGo search. Customize guardrails, streamline workflows, and boost efficiency.
We’re back with another round of exciting updates. This month, we’re introducing new ways to retrieve information, customize interactions, and automate workflows. We’ve got plenty to cover, from enhanced security guardrails and new retrieval components to cron jobs and new AI models. Let’s dive in!
You can now add custom guardrails to your Flows, ensuring the output stays on topic and your Flows aren’t misused. This component lets you use simple prompts to define clear restrictions on user input. For example, if your chatbot is built for sports-related discussions, you can enforce this rule with a simple prompt:
“Restrict the user’s topic to only topics about sports and do not pass the conversation if the topic is anything other than sports. If the input is gibberish, do not pass it through.”

With guardrails in place, you can keep your chatbot aligned with its intended purpose and maintain quality interactions.
Cron jobs are a huge step in automation options. If you’re unfamiliar with them, cron jobs are automated, scheduled actions running at set intervals. In FlowHunt, this means you can now trigger Flows automatically on a schedule—no manual input required. Whether sending reports, fetching updates, or running background tasks, cron jobs help streamline repetitive processes.

FlowHunt already supports more than 15 AI models from 6 leading providers, and now we’re adding DeepSeek as our seventh provider. We now support the DeepSeek R1 Distill Llama 70B model. This gives you even more flexibility in choosing the best AI model for your needs.

Our new Google Workspace integration lets you work directly with Google Docs and Sheets inside your Flows. We’re introducing seven new components that let you:

From looking up information in thousands of sheet rows to automatically updating reports, these new components open up endless possibilities for automatic workflows and efficient data management. We’ll keep you updated on all the use cases in our future posts.
In addition to Google Search, you can now also search the web using DuckDuckGo. This gives your Flows access to an alternative search engine that prioritizes privacy while still delivering relevant results.

We’re always working on the next big thing! Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming soon:
Stay tuned for more updates next month. As always, let us know what features you’d love to see next!
